BRUTAL HALLOWEEN - October 30th, Saturday - Szczecin, Poland @ DK Slowianin

After 2 day offs and sleeping at a gas station in the polish boarder (The van was smeling like an abandoned tiger´s jail after that or similar, like a monkey´s ass... well as you prefer) we went to DK Slowianin in Szczecin.
For us, this concert was one of most expected in the whole tour. I don´t know why but maybe by the emotion of doing a concert in a country that have great bands such as Vader, Behemoth, Decapitated, Hate .... and it´s the country where we sent our cd to be mixed and mastered.
ok ok, a lot of reasons.

We were received by Piotr, the organizer, that surprised us: He was going to play that night too with his death metal project. (Dark Project) - Yeahhh man, keep rocking!!!

The audience was going insane that night - and we loved it!

In the Khrophus gig a guy stole the singer´s microphone and started to scream something in polish, in our gig a guy lost his boots up on the stage ahahahaha All audience was trying to break the barrier between the stage and the public. That is, people was really enjoying the concerts!!!

This night was very good for both bands, Khrophus and itSELF. We sold a lot of merchandise!
The higher point of that was a man, with his 50-60 years old, counting a lot of coins to see if he could get 2 cds and 2 t-shirts. After 15min counting, he throwed all coins over the table and said with a pity´s face: "ohhh that´s all I got... can I get it even with less money?"
Yes we got touched and sold to him =)

Well, time to sleep after drinking good polish beer but this time we went to a military hotel. (Yeahhh I was getting tired of sleeping in a gas station)
We spent 3 days there cause our next gig would be just on tuesday and we were needing rest cause the next week would be very stressing - 6 shows without any dayoff.
We felt as we were at home. Rafal, the good friend that we made there, handled everything we need, giving us the best confort he could offer. Also he gave us special gifts from the time he went to Iraq as a soldier. Thanks a lot dude :)

Berlin @ K17 - October 27th, Wednesday

Short trip from Halle to Berlin.

P.s. Arriving at K17, we felt as rockstars. ahahahaha
I passed throught a traffic signal in yellow but I forgot that I was driving a van with a trailer so when changed to red, the car was still crossing and triggered more than 3 flashes wowww O.o

But as we are animals, we arrived with hungry. Luckly there was a big table with food and beers waiting us :)
We were surprised - K17 is a huge club with a huge structure. We were waiting a big audience that night but the sun wasn´t shining for us that day. Few people at K17 :(
That´s pity. For sure we´ll be back and destroy everything for much more ppl.

The only thing that remain was hang out and search some pub or club opened but for our astonishment the city was empty.

So, good night my friends ;)

Halle, Germany @ VL CLUB - Great Hospitality

After a big candabada party in Amsterdam we went to Halle on Monday.

* P.s. We were stopped at the boarder control in Germany asking if we got some marijuana from Netherlands. No, we´re angels so we could follow our path.

We surprised the organizer cause our gig it was only on Tuesday but we had no place to sleep and then we asked for 2 days there.
Anyway he receptioned us very well with a good place to sleep.
We spent that day to rest, take a shower, take some pictures around the club and clean our liver hahahahaha

Well, tuesday night and we started to mount our stuff at the stage and for a moment I thought that I was going insane. I started to listen a guy speaking in Portuguese. Yes, the singer from the support band is Brazilian. Now we got surprised :)

It was their 1st live appearance and they made a great job. Congratulations!

We got a problem this day: Estevan was losing his voice due to an infection in the throat.
Even with vocalizes and the heating up before the concert, his voice was looking like a 80 years old man´s voice. SO, he tried to heat up the throat drinking Jagermeister during the concert, it was funny ahahahaha

After that (as always) we went to the after party with the audience that was there to learn some german words. I´ll not post that words here, they´re so dirty ahaha

I just remember drinking a vodka with tomato juice and going to the bed sleeping.

Thanks a lot Alex and all from VL Club. It was a great night!!!

AHN? Sterdam... 3rd gig.

Driving 8 hours with a hangover till Amsterdam is not so good but we arrived well. (Not so well, it was very hard to find a place to park our van with trailer and it was very cold this day. We were doing blast beats with our teeth brrrrrrr)
The owner and audience from The Cave wasn´t expecting too much from our gig. Know? It´s a known club in Amsterdam that every day play new bands. So I believe that most of them are amateur and shit.
We achieved our goal one more time. The owner and audience were surprised! Yeah, I love when this happens :)
So, nothing more to say.

AHN? STERDAMMMM? AHAHAHAHA
AHAHAHAHA
AHAHAHAHA
AHNNNN? (Ok, you can imagine us at this moment)

"Jackie Chan, Jet Li, Bruce Lee…. AHN? Ping Pong… ahahahahahhahahahahaha"

Sinsheim - Blasting party

After a big hangover due to the party in AJZ Bahndamm we went to Sinsheim, Music Pub Express, for the 2nd gig.
Well received again by the owner (Werner).
The lack of voice PA wasn´t a problem for Werner. He arranged all the needed equipments with a friend in 15 minutes!
I didn´t expect too much from the audience but I was wrong. It was an awesome gig and so Brutal! With a lot of moshpits in the small bar (Without stage). Even when we had a technical problem (The battery from the guitar ended in the middle of a song) the audience didn´t stop asking for more songs!
One funny thing: There was a hip hop guy in the concert and he was very VERY high and started to hit the drumset in the last song till falls the whole set in the floor. HAHAHAHA So, started another moshpit, now against this dickhead. Everyone kicked his ass until he had to left the bar.
End of the concert, everyone tired and it´s time to? PARTYYYY
Ahn? We drank so much... and some guy, I can´t say who, tried to clean his cock in the sink hahahahahaha Fortunately, he couldn´t.
Hell yeah! Great fucking party! Thanks a lot Werner! See you next time!

*Eu quero sabeeerrr.... e um tabaco bem massa! pfpfpfpf hahahahaha

First gig in Germany - Wermelskirchen

After the anxiety in the airport waiting for Estevan and Jonathas with a big afraid of them being inadmited one more time (Yes, my thoughts about Spanish boarder police is true! Most of time they inadmit a person without a real reason) we came to the hotel in Offenbach drop up our stuff.
A lot of funny things happened there and one of them was that I´didn´t had put the strings in the bass so, let take a walk and find a music store. YES we´re dumb and we got lost after find the music store.  (after 40 minutes walking ahahaha)
We found a drunk guy at the train station, saying in German (2 brazilian guys that we´ve found minutes later translated that) that he was stoled and when this happens, the guilt must pay with blood. The guy was really, really pissed.

Next day we woke up at 5am to arrange all the stuffs and wait our van coming from Poland. (The guy delayed 3 hours!!! This almost killed us with a heart attack)
Khrophus were waiting us at the hotel in Frankfurt, ready to go straight to Dortmund pick up and load the trailer with the backline rented at Gate to Hell.
Now started our despair - The van started to smoke as Krakatoa and we thought that we were inside of it. Oil or diesel burning, we don´t know the reason yet. We know that we´re going to stay with this smoking van until 28nov when we have the opportunity to change our van cause we have 3 gigs in Poland at this time.

We got our backline in Dortmund, well received by the owner and then we went to Wermelskirchen.

We arrived in AJZ BAHNDAMM with a great reception. Thorsten, Thanks very much!
We had also a mechanic from the crew looking our car!!!

1st show, without a rehearsal, with a lot of troubles consuming us… we had a great show. We achieved our objective!

Great party after the show! Open bar (beer). Everyone drunk… YEAHHH

Preparatory... Before the beginning!

Hello everyone!
This is Ricardo Falcon from itSELF and from today I´m going to keep you updated.

Most of people think that have a band is just plug the guitar and go up to the stage and that the things are easy, considering you have a king´s life, bla bla bla...

Wrong!

All our difficulties to make this tour real started when we had more than 7 concerts cancelled, remaining less than a month to the beginning of tour. So it started a process called "Rushing against time" and I think it worked. With a lot of people helping us we achieved our goal re-booking these concerts.

Easy till now?

Let´s talk about that we´re brazilian (I´m the only one with double citizen) and then begins another nightmare: Foreign immigration.

Which was the plan?

As I live in Spain, Barcelona, I invited Estevan Furlan (drums/vocals) and Jonathas Peschiera (Bass) to come into my house to know Barcelona, do some rehearsals before the tour kickoff.
Guess what? Yes... They were considered as inadmissible passagers in Madrid (without a concret reason, in my opinion it was just a xenophobic act).
They paid by the unjust.
But this wasn´t a moment to cry and think that everything was over. As Marcin from Mythrone promotion wrote to me:
"Your determination and improvisatione are most important things in this "business""

So We had to think about in a second plan. Great! We bought another 2 flight tickets directly to Frankfurt, where I am right now at this moment.
To brace it, some letter invitations from some promoters may help if something goes wrong.

I´m very positive and nothing will go wrong now. They´ll arrive tomorrow and friday we´ll get our van with Lukasz and the backline at Gate to Hell. After that we´ll be ready to kick ass and go to Wermelskirchen for our 1st gig with Rotten Sound.

While the tour doesn´t start, I´m rehearsing alone and drinking some Franziskaners.

Anxious to post some pics and videos after the Friday´s concert.

See you soon,

Ricardo Falcon
